QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Good questions. Clear answers.
Pool care, equipment, plans and what to expect from your visit.
Pool care
How often does a pool in Orlando need service?
Weekly professional care is a practical starting point for many local pools. Pool use, weather and water conditions may call for additional attention between visits; we confirm the right schedule for your property.
Can you clear a green pool, and how long will it take?
We assess the water, debris and filtration before recommending cleanup and treatment. Recovery time varies with the pool’s condition and equipment; we explain the expected process after the assessment.
Why does my pool keep turning green?
Recurring green water can point to an unresolved water-balance, sanitizer or circulation issue. We review the test results and equipment instead of assuming the color has just one cause. Official guidance
What should I do if the water looks cloudy?
Contact us for a water and filtration assessment. Avoid swimming when the water is cloudy or the bottom is not clearly visible; clear-looking water also needs proper testing. Official guidance
What should I do after a hurricane or severe storm?
Stay out of the pool during thunderstorms and wait at least 30 minutes after the last thunder before returning outdoors. Keep away from damaged or flooded electrical equipment, and arrange a pool assessment once access is safe. Official guidance
Does pool care change between summer and winter?
Weather and pool use affect maintenance needs throughout the year. We review the pool’s condition and water results when recommending seasonal adjustments; cooler weather does not eliminate the need for care.
What should I know about Florida pool-safety requirements?
Florida law sets residential pool-safety requirements, and local rules may also apply. Ask your local building department which requirements apply to your property, keep safety barriers and gates working, and always supervise children around water. Official guidance
Water & equipment
Is a saltwater pool different from a chlorine pool?
A saltwater pool uses a salt chlorine generator to make chlorine from dissolved salt. Both systems still need water testing, balancing and equipment care. Official guidance
How long should my pool pump run?
There is no single setting for every pool. The schedule should account for the pump, pool size, filtration, sanitizer equipment and manufacturer requirements; ask us to review your setup. Official guidance
Can a variable-speed pump reduce energy use?
It can reduce energy use when correctly sized and programmed to run at suitable lower speeds. Actual savings depend on your current equipment, operating schedule and electricity rate. Official guidance
Does my pool need phosphate treatment?
We review water testing and the pool’s condition before recommending an additional treatment. Phosphate treatment should not replace routine sanitizer control, cleaning or filtration care.
How do I know when my pool needs resurfacing?
Tell us about rough areas, peeling, cracks or persistent surface problems so they can be assessed. Resurfacing needs a qualified specialist’s evaluation; it is separate from routine pool maintenance.
What is the difference between a heat pump and a gas heater?
Heat pumps transfer heat from the air and suit steady heating in suitable weather; gas heaters generally heat water faster. The best choice depends on how you use the pool, local energy costs and the equipment’s requirements. Official guidance
Is my pool losing water from evaporation or a leak?
Some evaporation is expected, but unusual or persistent water loss deserves an assessment. Track the change and tell us about rain, recent use or visible wet areas; a specialist may be needed to confirm a leak. Official guidance
What should I report between visits?
Let us know about unusual equipment noise, reduced circulation, cloudy or green water, or a change in water level, including when it started. Keep away from equipment that appears electrically damaged and have it assessed by a qualified professional. Official guidance
Visits & plans
What is included in weekly service?
Our service focuses on cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, filter care and preventive pool and equipment checks. Your personalized quote confirms the tasks and frequency included for your pool.
Are chemicals included in the price?
Your quote identifies the chemical care included in your plan and any additional treatments. Signature Weekly starts at $139/month, Estate at $249/month and Away at $199/month; final pricing depends on your pool and agreed service scope.
Do I need to be home for service?
We can discuss service while you are away when safe access to the pool and equipment is arranged in advance. Please let us know about pets, locked gates or other access needs.
Can you service a home in a gated community?
Share the community’s visitor-entry requirements when requesting service. Access arrangements and route availability must be confirmed before scheduling.
Can I change or cancel my service?
Contact us to discuss a change or cancellation. Your accepted service agreement sets the applicable notice, billing and cancellation terms.
What credentials can I review before starting?
Bubble Pool Service is CPO certified. Contact us for current documentation and any licensing or insurance details relevant to your requested work before approving service.
Do you care for vacation homes and seasonal properties?
Yes—tell us about occupancy, access and the care you need while away. The Away plan starts at $199/month, with the final scope and price confirmed in your personalized quote.
Will I receive an email service report?
After each completed visit, you receive an email report with completed tasks, water readings when tested, chemicals added, a pool photo and service notes. It helps you stay informed even when you are away.
How do I receive a personalized quote?
Call (689) 234-7971 or submit Request Service. We collect your property and pool details, arrange a visit and prepare a personalized quote; after your approval, we arrange service on a suitable route.
How do service days and arrival times work?
Recurring service days follow geographic routes and existing schedules. We make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests, but exact arrival times are not promised for routine weekly service.
Do you serve residential and commercial pools?
Yes. Homeowners, vacation properties, apartments, condos, HOAs, hotels, gyms and other commercial or public pools are welcome to request service; we assess each property’s requirements.
Do you work in my neighborhood?
We serve Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Davenport, Celebration, Winter Haven and surrounding Central Florida communities. Coverage depends on location, route availability, scheduling and account type; you are welcome to inquire about other areas.
